I'm Kathy.

I consider myself a multi-media artist. I was first trained in traditional art practices such as pencil sketching and oil painting, I then later extended my practice to video production.

 

At university, I was hugely inspired by the avant-garde cinema and decided to focus on experimental filmmaking. My work at the time explored the possibilities of Dadaism and Surrealism in the modern-day's art world. 

 

After graduation, I found my place in digital marketing, producing short videos for clients. This, however, does not mark the end of my art journey, instead, I incorporated my art knowledge into commercial video productions; and aesthetic remains the main aspect of my video-making process.
